Quentin Tarantino’s homage to cheap crime novels is a marvellous Royale-with-cheese of a film, full of great tunes, quotable lines and cool cats. Meet them all again: trash-talking hitmen Jules (Samuel L Jackson) and Vincent (John Travolta); their boss, Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), and his glamourpuss wife, Mia (Uma Thurman); and boxer Butch (Bruce Willis), whose beef with Marsellus turns into a perverse, unexpected rescue.
