I’ve got a voucher. Do I need to book a ticket?

Yes! A gift voucher is not a ticket. You must use your unique voucher code to book a ticket (or tickets) to the film you’d like to see. You can’t bring a gift voucher to the box office in lieu of tickets. Check out ‘How to Redeem’ for guidance on redeeming vouchers.

Okay, I’ve got my voucher. How do I book tickets to a film?

The journey is slightly different depending on whether you’ve got an email-based gift voucher or an ‘admit two’ voucher from a gift pack. Click ‘How to Redeem’ and scroll to the relevant section for step-by-step guidance on redeeming your type of voucher.

The unique voucher code on my voucher isn’t working. What should I do?

Don’t worry. Simply call our box office on (03) 9654 5394 or email us at hello@rooftopcinema.com.au. The box office is open from 5pm to 9.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

I didn’t receive my gift-voucher email. Did it disappear into the void?

Hmm. It’s true that when you buy a gift voucher, you should automatically receive an email that contains a unique voucher code. Please check your spam or promotions folders – the email may have been redirected there. If you still can’t find it, please call the box office on (03) 9654 5394 or email us at hello@rooftopcinema.com.au. The box office is open from 5pm to 9.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

I didn’t receive my gift pack in the mail.

Please allow up to 10 business days for your gift pack to arrive.

When we’ve posted your gift pack from our box office, we’ll send you an email with a tracking number. We send all gift packs using Registered Post, so you’ll be able to check Australia Post's delivery status by clicking the tracking link in that email.

If you still haven’t received your gift pack after 10 business days, please call the box office on (03) 9654 5394 or email us at hello@rooftopcinema.com.au. The box office is open from 5pm to 9.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

What if the film I booked using my gift voucher is cancelled because of the weather?

If we cancel the film, we’ll issue you a new unique voucher code of the same value so that you can re-book for another screening during the season.

Do I have to use my gift voucher this season?

Nope! Our gift vouchers don’t expire. You can redeem any remaining balance on your gift voucher during any future Rooftop Cinema seasons.

Can I exchange my voucher for cash?

No, sorry. Our gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
