Between the first Terminator and the second Arnie became a huge star, so James Cameron had to turn him from antagonist to protagonist in the sequel. It was a genius move and the laws of light and shade dictate that if Schwarzenegger is the brute force good guy then the new bad guy should be something more cerebral … more fluid. But what makes it such a perfect action movie, one of the best sequels ever made? Simple: it‘s an unstoppable machine with a big human heart.
